Dead Pixel Design is the studio of David Russell in Houlton, Maine. I build websites and web apps for small businesses, produce videos, and manage social media.

I scope the project, do the work, and answer the email. There’s no account manager translating the brief and no handoff to someone you’ve never met.
That structure works best for small businesses, musicians, and independent teams that want a clear scope and one accountable person on the other side.

Most clients come to me for a website. I help explain what they sell, build the pages, and connect the path from a visit to an inquiry. I also build browser-based business tools, edit footage into finished videos, and handle ongoing social content and replies.

Why Dead Pixel
A dead pixel is the one spot on the screen that refuses to disappear into the grid. The name fits a studio built for businesses and artists that don’t want to look interchangeable.
