Dead Pixel Design

Privacy.

What this site collects, why, and who else sees it. Questions go to david@deadpixeldesign.com.

The contact form

When you send the form, your name, email address, the project type you picked, what you wrote, and the page that sent you are delivered to David through Zapier. They are used to reply to you and nothing else. They are not sold or shared for marketing.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read, including when someone starts or sends the contact form. Google sets cookies to do this. You can block them with your browser’s privacy settings or a tracker blocker, and the site still works.

Purchases

Templates and tools are paid for through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe, not to this site. Stripe tells the site that a payment succeeded so the download can be delivered.

The free site check

The address you enter on the site check is fetched by this site and sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service to measure speed. The email field on that page is not stored or sent anywhere yet.

Calm mode

If you turn on Calm mode in the footer, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage. It never leaves your device.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to run and protect the service.
