My Plugin Looked Like An Energy Drink. Kimi K3 Fixed It.
Cab Rot works. It also looked like an energy drink. One prompt, an unclever agent, and six passes of it reading back its own screenshots.
Notes
Cab Rot does four bands of dynamic reduction on the 2 to 12k fizz and it works. It also looked like an energy drink.
So I wrote one prompt. Same layout, same six knobs, same band names, don’t touch the DSP. The green is dead, hairlines only, no shadows, no glow, and the reduction curve has to win the window. Then I handed it to Kimi K3 running in Pi, which is about as unclever as a coding agent gets. It reads files, writes files, runs a shell, and looks at images.
Then I got up and left for the better part of an hour.
It builds, screenshots itself, reads its own screenshot back, writes down the three worst things it’s looking at, and fixes those. Six passes minimum, no babysitting.
